A survey of readings that represent ethnic literature and culture in the U.S., with emphasis on the historical and cultural context of each text. A wide range of populations that identify as ethnic cultures in the U.S. will be included. Successful completion of this course satisfies the Cultures and Peoples requirement for graduation. Category C.

Prerequisite: Any 200-level ENGL course with a D or better.
